It has been less than a month since the mainstream media went on a spree mocking President Trump for talking about the problem of terrorism in Sweden. I won't rehash the old stories, but you surely recall them. Trump included Sweden on a list of places dealing with terrorism and the mainstream media was off to the races.
Since then, there has been a wave of attacks in Sweden culminating in today's attack in central Stockholm in which a truck ran down a crowd of pedestrians. We don't have the name of the driver yet, but the Swedish prime minister has said that it was a terrorist attack.
Will there be any mention in the media that maybe President Trump was right when he included Sweden as a place with a terrorism problem? Most likely, the answer is no.
Nevertheless, even if the media won't mention it, one has to remember what happened.
