CNN did an instant poll last night of people who watched the State of the Union speech by President Trump. The results showed 59% of those surveyed had a very positive reaction to the speech while another about 20% had a positive reaction. It must have killed CNN to have to report this. The network did try to spin the poll by pointing out that a majority of the same group didn't think that Trump's call for bipartisanship would be successful, so, according to CNN, that means that those polled thought Trump had failed. But that's wrong. It doesn't mean that Trump failed; it means that the audience knows the Democrats he has to deal with in Congress.
It's good to see that the national TV audience came away with a very favorable view of the speech. When Trump doesn't get filtered through the dishonest mainstream media, he is very effective.
