Attorney General Barr was confirmed by the Senate today. With the exception of two Democrats (Jones of AL and Manchin of WV) all the other Dems voted against the nomination. Barr was still approved with 54 votes to 45 against.
This vote is an appalling display of partisan BS by the Dems. There is not a single valid reason to vote against Barr. The man was previously the Attorney General under Bush. He is respected and he is also brilliant. I get that some of the Democrats would vote against him, but when all of them other than the two mentioned above decide to oppose him, it stinks. That's the only valid way to describe this. It stinks.
