Yesterday, Elizabeth Warren won over 95% of the vote at the Massachusetts state Democrat convention. She needed 85% to avoid a primary fight, and no candidate had ever suceeded in achieving that level in the past. With Warren's candidacy withering under the onslaught of bad press following discovery of her claim to Cherokee heritage and her history as a vulture who swooped in to foreclose properties and flip them for big profits, one would think that the Democrats would back away from her. Not so! I guess you can never underestimate the appeal to Democrats of affirmative action, especially in the Bay State.
