Warren Approaches the Cliff

Cherokee Liz is about to go over the cliff. Her campaign for the senate in Massachusetts stopped moving forward about a month ago when the issue of her supposed Cherokee "heritage" first arose, but now Warren's mishandling of the entire matter is about to take her down. As I wrote yesterday, Warren now admits that contrary to what she previously indicated, she herself told both the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard that she was a Native American. This was quite a switch, and Cherokk Liz is not dealing with the followup questions very well. Warren still claims that she only told the schools that she was Native American after she was hired for a full time position. When that super liberal newspaper the Boston Globe asked her how that could be since Harvard listed her as a Native American a year before she was hired when she was only a visiting professor at Harvard Law School, Warren said she did not know. Indeed, according to Politico, another liberal site, when asked why she said last month that she knew about Harvard listing her as a Native American only after the Boston Herald first broke the story, Warren responded, “I misunderstood the question.” It certainly seems that Cherokee Liz has been caught in a lie, a big, big lie.

As if that were not bad enough, there is a group of actual Cherokees who plan to come to Massachusetts and confront Warren. In the liberal world, having 150 or so Native Americans who clearly meet the qualifications for "victims" of society, show up to protest is the mark of ultimate doom. Again, according to Politico:

David Cornsilk, who co-founded “Cherokees Demand Truth From Elizabeth Warren” but says he won’t be at the protest, told POLITICO Friday that it’s an attempt to draw attention to Warren’s “developing pattern of dishonesty.”

“And we’re seeing probably the tip of the iceberg,” he said. “It’s important for America to see exactly who they’re electing. It doesn’t really matter if they’re Republican or Democrat. What matters is that she’s honest. And I’m seeing that she’s not.”

So long Liz.
