Have you read recently about the "spontaneous" uprising of the Palestinians incited by the desire of Israeli Jews to pray on the Temple mount? You know, those Israelis want to actually gather in groups in the plaza on top of the mount and say prayers together. In response, the Palestinians have been attacking and killing Israeli civilians who have done such terrible things as stand at a bus stop or pray in a synagogue located in Israel many miles from the Temple mount. According to CNN, NBC or particularly the BBC, the whole mess began about five weeks ago when Israeli authorities temporarily shut down all access to everyone to the Temple mount for about 36 hours to prevent any confrontation there.
Now, if you believe that story just because it is in the media, we have a bridge we want to sell you. Today came proof that the attacks by the Palestinians were long planned actions. Israeli police intercepted a massive shipment of 18,000 firecrackers, 5,200 knives, 4,300 Taser-flashlight devices, 5,000 electric shock devices and 1,000 swords that were being transported to the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Beit Hanina, home of many of the rioters. The weapons were inside a container that had been shipped from China and offloaded at the Israeli port of Ashdod. Most interesting is that the shipment was sent from China many weeks before any of the rioting or terror attacks occurred in the Jerusalem area. Indeed, the shipment began its route in China before there was any of the supposed incitement by Israelis about the Temple mount. In other words, before any confrontation or upset had begun, a huge cache of weapons was being shipped to Palestinian rioters in East Jerusalem.
