That did not take long. Brian Williams has "put himself on leave" from the NBC Nightly News. Translating that into English, Williams got dumped by his network. NBC is still hoping that this will all blow over and allow Williams' return, but good luck with that. he is almost certainly history. Maybe he can go into business with Dan Rather.
