Calling the President "Unpatriotic"

The mainstream media and the Democrats are in an uproar about remarks made in private by former New York mayor Rudi Giuliani that are claimed to have questioned the patriotism of the president.  Giuliani says he "doesn't doubt Obama's patriotism" but the debate goes on nevertheless.  For Democrats and many pundits it is "outrageous" to question the patriotism of the president of the United States.

I think it is worth looking at the statement to see it in its entirety before coming to any conclusions:

Here it is:

“The problem is, is that the way [the President] has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion dollars for the first 42 presidents — number 43 added $4 trillion dollars by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion dollars of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child.
That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic.”

So I guess it's clear that the word unpatriotic was used.  But here's the point.  The quote above comes from a statement by then senator Barack Obama who was calling president Bush unpatriotic.  Before the media and the Democrats get so outraged, maybe they ought to look at their own leader first.
