The New York Times just won't give up. After the attack by a radical Islamic terrorist in Copenhagen, the paper just identified the shooter as a native born Dane but left out his Arabic name and Islamic religion. That only worked for a few hours as other media told the world the truth about the shooter. In response, the Times came forward with an article under this headline:
Anger of Suspect in Danish Killings Is Seen as Only Loosely Tied to Islam
It is unbelievable that the Times goes so far out of its way to avoid the obvious. Terrorists in Copenhagen launch an attack on a free speech symposium featuring a person who is perceived to have insulted the prophet Mohammed and on a synagogue where Jews have gathered to celebrate a bat mitzvah. It is an attack in the mold of those by radical Islamic terrorists in Belgium and the recent ones in Paris. The shooter shouts Allahu Akhbar during his last shootout with the police. But, hey, according to the Times, he really was not an "Islamic" terrorist. No, he was just an angry individual, a malcontent.
What more can one say?
