Now ISIS Admits It (Sort Of)

ISIS has released a new video in which it discusses being pushed out of Kobani in Syria by the Kurdish peshmerga force.  The ISIS spokesman blames the loss of the city on relentless bombing by the USA which leveled the entire city thereby leaving nothing to defend.  ISIS claims it had to go because the city was just gone.  As for the peshmerga forces, ISIS calls them "rats" and belittles them.

Now for the translation:  ISIS is concerned that it was ousted from Kobani by ordinary Kurdish forces who were not only outnumbered but also outgunned.  The Kurds held on in Kobani when things looked very bleak; they simply did not give up.  This is a major blow to the ISIS theme that God is on their side and that their victory is inevitable.  How could the Kurds win if that is true?  That is why ISIS is releasing a video about a defeat, not something that one would normally expect from a group like the terrorists.  ISIS wants to put the outcome on the total destruction of the city by the evil USA (something that did not actually happen).  ISIS says that America bombed them non-stop for months.  In truth, the US bombing was important in stopping ISIS but it was sporadic and hardly leveled the city.

Once again, it is important to note just how important the Kurds are in the fight against ISIS.  It is now time for president Obama to change America policy so that we provide better weapons to the ISIS fighters.  We ought not worry as much about the sensibilities of Iran, the Shia controlled government of Iraq or the president of Turkey.  These people don't want to see the Kurds helped.  but the Kurds are the only ones who are actually friends of the USA.  The Kurds are also the only ones who fight ISIS.  Obama needs to accept reality.
