When I opened Yahoo News this morning, I got proof just how effective the invitation by Speaker of the House Boehner to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu really is. The White House is terrified that Netanyahu will be able to put the truth about Iran in front of the American people.
So what is this proof? Yesterday, some members of the House met with the Israeli ambassador to "yell" at him and demand that the speech be cancelled. Yahoo News says that the members involved were all Jewish Democrats, and they were. The key, however, is that the small group included Debbie Wasserman Schultz who is chair of the Democrat National Committee as well as Steve Israel who is the chair of the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee. There were two or three others as well. So high Democrat party officials are going berserk because of the speech. They know just how unhappy American voters will be when they hear that the Obama administration is basically going to agree to let Iran go nuclear.
No wonder these folks want the speech stopped.
