Silence? Even Randomness was Better

Did you read the statement issued by the Obama White House after the terror attack in Copenhagen on the main synagogue in that city?  There was a celebration of a bat mitzvah going on inside at the time of the attack.  The Jewish security guard at the synagogue was murdered and two local policemen were wounded.  The terrorist who committed the attack was the same on who shot up the free speech symposium at a café in Copenhagen earlier in the day.  He was later killed by the police.  Since the attack, the leaders of both the national and municipal governments have come to the synagogue to place flowers at a makeshift memorial.  The leaders of the British, French and other European governments have denounced the attack on the synagogue as well.

I only ask if you read president Obama's statement, because there is none.  Obama has remained silent about this terrorist attack on Denmark's Jewish community.  The man who has something to say about everything from commemorating National Potato Week to the guilt or innocence of the police in Ferguson has nothing to say on this subject.

Then there's the statement Obama's press spokesman issued today about the murder of the 21 Christian Egyptians by ISIS.  That murder, at least, merited a statement.  The White House, however, fails to mention that these men were murdered because they were Christians.  They are just described as 21 Egyptian citizens.

Last week, Obama called the shooting a few weeks back in the Paris kosher supermarket that targeted French Jews just a "random" attack.  Now he won't even talk about such an attack.

Our president is a disgrace.  There can be no disagreement on that point.
