The Washington Post did its first hit piece on Scott Walker today. It was an investigative report on governor Walker's college career with a particular focus on why he left in his senior year without graduating. It is a rather funny report for investigative journalism.
Here's the big scandal that the Post uncovered. I hate to spread this sort of attack, but did you know that when he was in college Scott Walker was late on more than one occasion to French class? If you think I am making this up, I suggest you read the WaPo article which actually focuses on Walker's lack of punctuality to the French class.
And as to why Walker left college--the Post confirms Walker's own explanation: he got a good job and took it with the idea that he could always finish up his degree later.
So the WaPo basically found no news of any sort about Walker. It's a hit piece that doesn't come close to delivering any hit. My question is why did the WaPo print this? It is so unlike them.
