The Home stretch for the midterm elections -- Here is the question

There are only two weeks left before Election Day and the air is filled with predictions. Nancy Pelosi still says that the Democrats will hold the House. This view is echoed by Robert Gibbs, Obama's press secretary. Democrats are swamping the airwaves with negative ads accusing their opponents of everything from worshipping idols (really, it's true) to tax fraud. The Democrats are running essentially no positive ads that endorse the program of the last two years. Their new mantra is that Republicans have given no specifics on where they would cut spending; if any Republican points to a particular spending cut, it is either not enough or cruel to the poor.

I have a suggestion for the Republicans who are experiencing these attacks. Ask your Democratic opponent where is the half trillion dollars in Medicare waste and fraud that was the basis for financing Obamacare. remember that the trillion dollar cost of Obamacare was to be funded to the extent of 50% of the cost with savings from getting rid of Medicare waste and fraud. Well, it is now eight months since Obamacare was signed into law and there has not been even one dollar saved by rooting out waste and fraud from Medicare. There is not even any program that has been set up to look for waste and fraud. Indeed, the Democrats whole budgeting for Obamacare has been shown to be a lie. So when the Democrat tells you that you are not specific enough with your possible cuts from the budget, ask him or her to give specifics about the actual cuts promised by a law that they passed close to a year ago. Then ask the Democrat how he can complain about lack of specifics when he cannot even come up with one step actually taken to implement a promised spending cut.
