The Washington Post Just Learned This????

Here is this morning's big story from the Washington Post "Wonk Blog" where Ezra Klein, the super supporter of president Obama writes:

Enrollment records for close to 15,000 HealthCare.gov shoppers were not initially transmitted to the insurance plans they selected, according to a preliminary federal estimate to be released Saturday.
While these cases pose a challenge for the Obama administration, officials say they believe the situation is improving.

Let's put this into perspective.  The feds claim that just over 120,000 people "selected insurance plans" on the Healthcare.gov exchange through the end of November.  We know, however, that a big chunk of these people did not actually order the insurance once it was selected.  Most likely, the number who actually made the purchase was less than half, but lets go with two thirds to be conservative.  That would mean that in the first two months, about 80,000 people ordered insurance policies through the exchange.  Today's news means that about 20% of those folks will not actually get the insurance that they ordered since their data was not sent on to the insurance companies by the exchange.

Every day brings more bad news about Obamacare.  Nothing is going to save this mess.
