An Act of War

The news today is that the "hackers" who hit Sony are now threatening terror attacks on theaters that show The Interview, the Sony movie comedy about an inept pair who try to assassinate the leader of North Korea.

It is time for president Obama to get involved with this mess.  When the North Koreans hackers just invaded the Sony computer systems and released all sorts of secrets and financial information, it was wrongful, but it did not rise to the level that required a national response from a president as weak as Obama.  With the North Koreans now making terrorist threats, however, it is time for the president to warn the North Koreans.  Any attack on theaters here in the USA will be considered an act of war and the United States will respond with full force.

I know that the movie is both silly and stupid.  I also find nothing funny about attempted assassination of a foreign leader, even one like Kim Jong Un.  Nevertheless, the NK's need to understand that any attack in the USA, no matter how they try to disguise it, will have serious and intolerable consequences.

And before anyone writes, let me add that there is no doubt that this is the act of the North Koreans.  No one else could possible care about a Hollywood comedy like this.
