Jeb Bush announced today that he is forming an exploratory committee as part of his preparation for deciding if he is running for president. In other words, Jeb is running.
All I can say is YUCK! It's still 2014. Can't we at least have until next Spring before we have to deal with all the presidential candidates? And Jeb Bush? Really? Do we really need a GOP candidate who seems at odds with the mainstream of the party on so many issues? Doesn't he recall the great success that Jon Huntsman had in 2012? There is no way that Bush is going to get the nomination. It is bad enough that his last name is Bush. (In fairness, Hillary's last name is Clinton, but that is a problem for the Democrats.) America does not want a "new car smell", but we at least want a new face and fresh ideas. Refighting the battles of the 1990s is not where we need to be now.
Jeb, here's a personal appeal from me. Decide that you will NOT run. Don't embarrass yourself.
