The injuries inflicted on average Americans by Obamacare get little notice in the media these days. We no longer hear about high premiums or medical costs or even the decline of medical care because of those high costs. The truth, however, is that millions of Americans cannot and will not forget what Obamacare has done, and the damage is going to get worse. New policies are shifting coverages so that there is less medical care provided but the cost is greater. For many folks, health insurance is a major monthly cost, but medical care is now priced out of reach because of high deductibles. We know that the overall cost of healthcare across the country has not risen by much because so many people can no longer afford it due to Obamacare.
We have gone for years during which the Democrats have argued that Obamacare has worked because many more people now have coverage. Maybe it is time for the focus to shift. The issue is not coverage by health insurance; it is obtaining health care. Obamacare may have increased the number with insurance, but it has cut the number who actually get care. It really needs to go.
