It Never Ends

While reviewing news from the Middle East today, I saw three items of importance that are worth mentioning.

First of all, there is now news that ISIS is financing some of its activities by selling human organs taken from captives and battlefield casualties.  Most of the captives whose organs have been harvested are children.  Think about that.  These terrorists who claim to be men of God are capturing children and cutting them open to take their kidneys or other organs.  Most of the children involved have been from minorities like the Yazidis, Druze or Christians.  Even Moslems who are Shiite have been included among the victims.

If there were ever any doubt whether or not ISIS is a manifestation of pure evil which must be stamped out completely, this latest news resolves that question against ISIS.

Second, there has been confirmation that Hamas has been rebuilding its so called terror tunnels in the Gaza Strip.  During the war last summer between Hamas and Israel, the Israeli forces destroyed all or almost all of the tunnels that had been built into Israeli territory.  Building supplies were kept out of Gaza for about a month after the end of the war, but then some were permitted across the border by Israel and Egypt so that the Gazans could rebuild damaged structures.  Hamas has been seizing these materials and using them for reconstruction of the tunnels.  Once again, the terrorists have left their own people to suffer while they engage in futile planning for future battles with Israel.

Third, we have another news item which is related to the second one.  Terrorists in Gaza launched a short range missile into Israel this morning.  Fortunately, the missile fell into a farm field and detonated harmlessly.  Nevertheless, the alert sounded in the area and all of the people had to run for cover.  Imagine that you were eating breakfast this morning and an alarm went off that meant that you had 15 seconds to get to cover or risk being hit by a missile.  That is the everyday life of the Israelis who live near Gaza.

None of these stories are likely to receive wide coverage in the mainstream media.  Nevertheless, each is extremely important in its own right.  Think of the impact on the USA.  Will president Obama concern himself during his upcoming long vacation with the plight of the children whose organs are being harvested and sold to finance the ISIS terrorists' war?  I doubt it.  Will Obama care that the materials purchased with hundreds of millions of American dollars for "reconstruction" of Gaza are being used instead to build terror tunnels?  I doubt that too.  Will Obama even notice that the Israelis who live near the terrorist den that is Gaza remain under attack?  Most likely Obama will blame them for being attacked; after all, they are Israelis.
