Another Obama "Success Story" -- India

Did you read about all that president Obama accomplished in his trip to India? No, neither did I, but there is an important reason for that:  the trip was a flop.  More specifically, Obama failed in his efforts to get India to agree to any limitations that might reduce emissions of carbon dioxide in the future.  India's leaders would not even agree to a phony pact like the one Obama reached with the Chinese a few months ago.  China, you may recall, agreed to limit emissions some time after fifteen years from now.  I guess the Indians are just more honest than the Chinese.

In the next future, India will be the world's most populous nation; it has almost passed China already.  For a long time, India had a slow growing economy with great government control.  In recent years, however, the government has freed the restraints on the economy and India has been growing much more rapidly.  There is simply no way that the same Indian government is going to agree to limits on India's economy to help reduce emissions which may or may not have some sort of effect on world climate.  India's leadership understands that despite the propaganda, there really is no proof that global warming caused by man exists or that it can be controlled by emissions standards.
