Secretary of State Kerry went to Paris today in an effort to make up for the USA not sending a senior representative to the massive march against terrorism. In an amazing turn of events, Kerry actually brought singer James Taylor with him to sing "You've Got A Friend" to the French. This nonsense is what passes for diplomacy in the age of Obama.
I am sure that there will be enough written about Taylor's singing in Paris and I see no reason to add to that. I did start wondering whether or not Obama and Kerry will start using this method of "concert diplomacy" in order to overcome their obvious lack of diplomatic skill. Here are a few suggestions:
1. Kerry could take Stevie Wonder to a conference on solar power to sing "You Are The Sunshine of my Life".
2. Obama could have "Stairway to Heaven" sung at the next NASA event. The one after that could feature "Fly Me To The Moon."
3. Instead of fighting ISIS, Obama could have loudspeakers set up to play "Sweet Surrender" to them.
4. The music on hold at the IRS could be changed to "Money Makes the World Go Around".
