It has been rather amazing to watch the discussion of the terrorist attacks on Charlie Hebdo and a Kosher supermarket in Paris morph into a series of rants in the media over whether or not there are so called "no go zones" in the UK and France. We have moved from condemnation of Islamic terrorism to a media driven condemnation of Islamophobia by Fox News and Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana. It's just nuts.
Let's start at the beginning. What are "no go zones"? The simple answer is that they are areas where the local police do not go on a normal basis. In France, the neighborhoods are called actually called "sensitive urban zones". The French government (and not Fox News) has designated 717 neighborhoods as sensitive urban zones. The population in these zones is overwhelmingly Moslem with roots in Algeria, Morocco or other North African Moslem lands. These zones were the site of major rioting at repeated times over the last ten years. And guess what? There is a seriously reduced police presence in these areas. In other words, they are the very essence of no go zones.
As far as I can determine, there are not similar zones in the UK. Sure, there are neighborhoods which are overwhelmingly Moslem, but they do not function as separate entities to the extent that they do in France.
Discussing no go zones is not Islamophobic. Nor is it racist. The zones are facts, not fiction.
None of these facts will change the current attack by the liberal media on the very mention of no go zones. After all, the subject allows the media to avoid the uncomfortable truth of Islamic terrorism. You get it. Moslem terrorists attack journalists and Jews in Paris and the villains of the piece are Fox News and governor Jindal. (No one said that the liberal press was rational).

Just WONDER, How would the LIBERAL Media like to live close to the ISIL/ISIS Front, would they still be calling Fox/Jindal Islamophobic?
