Sometimes the News Is Hard to Believe - 2

I just read an article by AFP about Hamas condemning the attack on Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris.  For those who don't know, AFP is the French news agency.  The article reports that Hamas condemned the attack on the magazine and further reports that Hamas rejects the comparison by Israel's prime minister of the attack to the rocket and mortar attacks launched by Hamas against Israeli civilians.  The French news agency presented Hamas' statement in the piece without asking the Israelis for comment.

So why is this hard to believe?  The French news agency failed to report that Hamas refused to condemn the attack on the Kosher supermarket in Paris by the same group of terrorists who hit Charlie Hebdo.  In case you missed that, that's the FRENCH news agency talking about a terror attack in FRANCE.  How can that organization fail to mention that Hamas supported one act of terror but not the other?
