Will Obama Start Crying Next?

President Obama always takes great offense if anyone criticizes him or disagrees with him.  His definition of "compromise" is that it is what happens when those on the other side change their positions to agree completely with Obama's.  If someone points out Obama's dishonesty, they are called "racist".  If Obama criticizes someone, however, that is fine.  If Obama talks about his "plan" or his "proposals" without there actually being any such plans or proposals, that is okay.  If an opponent points out that Obama has made no proposal and offered no plan, that is both "racist" and disrespectful of the office of the president.  It is in this context that one should look at Obama's reaction to the invitation by Congress to Israel's prime minister Bibi Netanyahu to address a joint session in February.  Netanyahu received the invite from Speaker of the House John Boehner, and ha accepted.

Obama's first response to the news of the Netanyahu speech was to show annoyance and upset.  Then the White House accused Congress of a breach of protocol.  How dare Congress invite the Israeli prime minister to speak without the approval of the White House!  Speaker Boehner, of course, quickly pointed out that Congress was a separate branch of government and it had every right to ask anyone, even a foreign leader, address the body.  Since Boehner is clearly right under our constitutional system, Obama quickly changed his tune.  Now the White House says that it was Netanyahu who violated protocol.  According to the White House spokesman, a foreign head of state ought not visit the USA without first clearing it with the White House.  Then the White House announced that Obama is refusing to meet with Netanyahu during his visit which will include the speech to Congress.  In many respects, it sounds like the kid who, when he is losing a game, announces that he is taking his ball and going home.  So there!

Think about the idiocy of Obama's position.  The Israeli prime minister gets an official invitation from the US Congress.  Should Netanyahu really have to check with Obama to make sure he is okay with that?  Why would that be?  Remember, this is the same Netanyahu that a "high White House official" called a "coward" and a "chickenshit" eight weeks ago.  Did Obama check with Netanyahu before trying to embarrass and damage the reputation of the Israeli?  I doubt it.  This is the same Obama who decided two years ago to keep Netanyahu waiting in a White House office while Obama went to have dinner with his family.  That was protocol?  Is it some new sort of White House protocol that allows the president to insult and disrespect a foreign leader but which prohibits the foreign leader from accepting an invitation from one of the three equal branches of the US government?

The truth is that Obama is just throwing a hissy fit because Netanyahu's speech is coming and Obama doesn't like it.  There was no violation of protocol, only an immature response from the man-child Obama.

Just imagine if Netanyahu gives a really good speech.  What will Obama do then?  Cry?
