Hillary Clinton's campaign is looking for yet another slogan for her campaign. We've already seen "I'm with her" which Trump destroyed when he started using "I'm with you". There were others too, but there hasn't been anything like Obama's "hope and change" or "yes we can". The current thinking at the campaign is to try to go back into history are modify a famous American slogan with a Hillary Clinton twist. So far the campaign is looking at four famous lines connected with major American victories. Here they are:
1. The slogan the Woodrow Wilson used when the USA entered World War I was that we were "Making The World Safe For Democracy". The Hillary team is considering "Making The World Safe For Dishonesty".
2. Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address starts with "Four score and seven years ago". The Hillary team is considering "Four score and seven million dollars is all it will cost for a favor".
3. Franklin Roosevelt called December 7, 1941, the day of the attack by Japan on Pearl Harbor "A date that will live in infamy." The Clinton team really likes this one so much that they are considering using it without change but just changing the reference to January 20, 2017 which would be the date Hillary would be inaugurated were she to win the election.
4. Finally, (and this is the current favorite) John Kennedy famously said "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." Hillary herself is leaning towards "Ask not what Hillary Clinton can do for you; ask what you can do for Hillary Clinton".
There was one more that had been considered, but they have rejected it. Leona Helmsley famously said "Only the little people pay taxes." You can just imagine the rest.
