What Was That?

Less than an hour ago, two female police officers in Charleroi, Belgium were attacked by a man with a machete.  The assailant was shouting, "Allahu Akhbar" as he slashed the officers.  The attack took place outside a police station, so there were many other police around.  They shot and wounded the attacker who was sent to the hospital.  There is no word yet on the condition of the two police officers or of the attacker.  Charleroi is the home to a large Moslem community and was the home base for more than half of the terrorists who carried out the major ISIS attack in Paris about a half year ago.

So, to adopt the posture of the mainstream media, I have to wonder now what this was.  Is there any sign that it is an Islamic terrorist attack?  I wonder.  Is this attack just the result of lax gun laws in Belgium?  Maybe.  Why was the attacker shouting "Allahu Akhbar"?  Maybe he has a grudge against one of the police and was just trying to throw them off his trail after he got away.  Maybe now we should speculate that this was actually an attack by a right wing neo-Nazi group.

What we really don't know is whether or not this Islamic terrorist is a Syrian refugee or not.  What we certainly do know, however, is that this is yet another attack by Islamic terrorists in Europe.
