Last week, I wrote about the attack with chemical weapons launched by the Assad forces in Syria and speculated about the likely response by president Obama. It seems I was correct. The Assad forces used chlorine gas to kill and injure many people and the White House did not even comment. The attack was confirmed by UN observers, but the White House did not even comment. The attack violated international treaties, but the White House did not even comment. The attack also violated Obama's self-proclaimed "red line" and the supposed agreement made when the Assad forces first used chemical weapons, but the White House did not even comment.
Isn't it time we have a president who worries more about doing what is right than about how it will affect him or his party politically?
