Speaking to a few reporters today, Hillary Clinton was asked about why so few people trust her. Hillary's answer was a real eye-opener: she says that the low numbers of people who trust her is a result of attacks by Republicans. It's amazing when you think about it. Until Hillary said this today, I never saw the connection, but now I do. Here's a list of things that the GOP did to undermine trust in Hillary:
1. The GOP set up a secret and unsecured email system in Hillary's home and then allowed her to use it to store and transmit national secrets.
2. The GOP decided that overthrowing Gaddafi in Libya would be a good idea and then convinced president Obama to start bombing that country. Even worse, the Republicans led Obama into attacking in Libya without having any plan how to deal with the aftermath of Gaddafi's overthrow.
3. The Republicans failed to secure America's diplomatic outposts in the Middle East when Hillary was secretary of state and even failed to take minimal measures to increase security at those outposts on the anniversary of 9-11 when an attack was expected.
4. The GOP did nothing to help the people in Benghazi when they were under attack.
5. The Republicans sent Susan Rice to the Sunday shows to lie about the cause of the Benghazi attack and those same Republicans made Hillary tell the nation that this had all been the result of some youtube video.
6. The Republicans forced Hillary Clinton to lie to the families of the victims of the Benghazi attack at the ceremony held to receive back into the USA the bodies of those fallen heroes.
I would list more, but I am getting too angry at those rascally Republicans to go on.
The truth (something Hillary knows nothing about) is that Americans don't trust Hillary Clinton because she's a cheat and a liar. There is no way to rely on anything this woman says. Put another way, Hillary's trust problem has nothing to do with the Republicans. When it comes to being seen as a liar and a cheat, Hillary is a self-made woman.
