I wrote previously about president Obama's press conference in which he said, among other things, that the Iran deal was a great success and that even Israel agrees. The Israelis quickly responded that they do not see the Iran agreement as working and have never said that they did. (It was just another lie from Obama). Now, we have news regarding Iran's position on the agreement.
Last Tuesday, the Iranian Supreme Leader said that the average Iranian hasn't seen the benefits they had hoped to see following the agreement. He went on to say that the US and other Western countries were still "sabotaging" Iran's economy despite the agreement. The Ayatollah said that Iran would not hold more talks with the USA because of American violations of the agreement.
The basic underpinning of the Iran agreement according to Obama was to be a new relationship between Iran and the USA. It sure sounds like the old relationship to me.
