Where Do You Stand?

Here are five questions that will tell you a great deal about your political positions:

1.  Which of these do you consider most important
     a.  Increasing the rate of economic growth in the USA.
     b.  Reducing income inequality in the USA.
     c.  What's economic growth?

2.  Which of these do you consider most important
     a.  Increasing American energy production and reducing imports from America's enemies.
     b.  Stopping American production of fossil fuels and importing more oil from OPEC.
     c.  Who gives a frack?

3.  Which of these do you consider most important
     a.  Enforcing the laws of the USA equally for all people.
     b.  Ignoring the laws of the USA if enforcement would adversely affect undocumented immigrants.
     c.  Don't bother me with another question.

4.  Which of these do you consider most important
     a.  Slowing the rate of growth of Medicaid so that the USA can continue to afford to pay for the program
     b.  Increasing Medicaid coverage to make sure everyone has healthcare
     c.  Hey, I told you to stop asking me questions.

5.     Which of these do you consider most important
     a.  Focusing the tasks of the US armed forces on the defense of the country
     b.  Using the military to promote social issues even if it affects the ability of the armed forces to defend us.
    c.  Dude, I don't care about what the army does; leave me alone.

These are actually serious questions.  OK, anyone who chose answer "c" to even one of the five is now labeled officially as completely disinterested in politics and ideology.  All of the "a" answers are conservative, while all of the "b" answers are liberal.  See how you rate on that scale.  (By the way, anyone whose results came in at 3 to 2 either way is officially a political schizophrenic.
