Investigation as the National Pastime

It used to be baseball, but America's "national pastime" has changed.  Today, it is investigation.  To be clear, investigation never includes conclusion; it is just investigation, endless investigation.

Think about it.  In September of 2012, the Benghazi consulate was attacked by terrorists.  President Obama would not even admit that they were terrorists, but he launched an investigation to find out the facts of what happened.  Do you remember the report that the FBI put out giving details of the results of that investigation?  Neither do I.  That is because there has never been any such report.  Indeed, it seems pretty clear that there has never been any such investigation.  Right now, we have investigations launched by Obama and the Obamacrats into the IRS harassment of conservatives, the DOJ secret monitoring of the AP telephone lines, the disappearance of known terrorists that the government had in the Witness Protection program, and, of course, the Benghazi attacks.  How often in the last year have you heard one White House spokesman or another say that he could not discuss the facts on one of these issues because they are the subject of "an ongoing investigation"?

Investigation has become the smokescreen behind which Obama and the Obamacrats have been trying to hide.  Just for once, wouldn't it be nice to hear Obama answer the direct questions?  Here are just a few:

1.  Where were you on the night of September 11, 2012 while the ambassador and three other Americans were killed by terrorists in Libya?
2.  Who gave the order to stand down when US forces were ready to go to Benghazi to help defend the survivors.
3.  When did you first hear allegations that the IRS was targeting conservative groups?
4.  What steps, if any, did you take when you first heard those allegations?
5.  If you did not stop the practice, why not?
6.  When did you first hear that DOJ was secretly monitoring the phone lines of the press?
7.  Why did you not stop that practice?

These are not hard questions.  Obama knows the answers.  Americans have a right to know those answers too.
