Important News From Syria

There's big news coming from Syria, although you would hardly know it if you just got your news from the mainstream media.  First, the commander of the Hezbollah terrorists in Syria was killed in an explosion yesterday.  The first reports from the scene blamed the death on an Israeli attack although there was no evidence of Israeli involvement in the action.  Now even Hezbollah has dropped any claim of Israeli involvement.  Much more likely is that the attack was the result of the opponents of the Assad regime.

That news may leave you saying that there's a cease fire in Syria, right?  After all, John Kerry just had his gazillionth meeting to arrange that cease fire and he announced success.  At least that is what the mainstream media reported.  The reality is something quite different.

Indeed, while we are explaining the reality of Syria, it's worth noting that the Assad forces (and maybe Hezbollah) used chemical weapons against ISIS a few weeks ago according to local press reports.  The chemical weapons used was sarin gas, one of those which Assad supposedly gave up in his agreement with Obama a few years back.  Sadly, however, the pictures from the scene show dead people with all the telltale signs of a sarin attack.  Of course, there have been no real reports of these attacks in the USA because they would make Obama look bad, and the media can't have that during the midst of a presidential campaign -- it might hurt Hillary's chances.

Another big news item from Syria is that the Russians seem still to be there in the same number as before.  Putin announced a withdrawal, but it was all announcement and no action.  It's a tactic he must have learned from Obama.

So it seems that the level of fighting in Syria is getting worse, not better.  The Russians lied.  Assad lied.  Hezbollah's commander died.  And where is the focus of our leader Obama?  He's busy issuing directives that school bathrooms have to be made available for transgender students of the opposite physical sex.
