The front page of the Sunday New York Times has a big article reporting (supposedly) on how Donald Trump has treated women in private over the years. There's nothing much to the article, but the Times plays it as if Trump were a serial abuser of women -- he's not. There are some women who are unhappy with their dealings with Trump in the past, but that's no surprise. On the other hand, no one is claiming rape, or sexual abuse, or the use of his position of authority to gain sex with an employee. Those would be all the accusation against Hillary Clinton's husband Bill. Oh, and those accusations against Bill were proven by physical evidence in part. Bill Clinton also paid nearly a million dollars in damages to settle the claims of Paula Jones of attempted sexual abuse. There are even claims from a woman whose husband had just died who was then hit on by Bill Clinton. And we can't forget that it was Bill, not Trump, who took nearly 30 trips on the so-called Lolita Express, the private jet that a pedophile billionaire used to use to gat back and forth to his private island in the Caribbean (and on which there were allegedly sexual encounters between passengers and underage girls.)
One has to wonder why the New York Times would emphasize a subject on which the Clintons' behavior is so much worse than anything of which Trump is accused. Trump may have been nasty to some women, but Hillary was much worse; she allegedly led the charge to destroy their lives after they spoke out about abuse by Bill Clinton. It's as if the Times decided to do an expose of Trump for jaywalking when Hillary was involved in murder.
I guess that the editors of the Times still believe that they control the narrative that the public gets to hear. Either that or the folks at the Times are brain dead.
