Mayor DeBlasio of New York announced that his "non-profit" group will no longer cooperate with the ethics probe underway concerning the group's activities. That really did not take long. First we heard of the probe. Then we got the obligatory statement from the mayor telling us that he and his group would fully cooperate. Now, once the media is no longer focused on the probe, the mayor is refusing to cooperate. Isn't New York great!
Then there's governor Cuomo and the probe into his activities. That probe is being run by the US attorney, so we don't know the details. We do know that Cuomo is sweating profusely as the US Attorney closes in on him.
While we are talking about NY pols, we should turn back to Hillary Clinton. Just a few days ago, Hillary told a TV audience that the FBI had not interviewed any of her staff and that she certainly wouldn't be interviewed. The whole thing was just a big nothing according to her majesty queen Hillary. In short order, however, it was disclosed the essentially all of Hillary's staff has spoken to the FBI with the latest interview being with Huma Abedin, Hillary's most trusted aide. Further, the FBI interview of Hillary herself is now scheduled for the week after next according to multiple press reports.
So we have what appears to be a crooked mayor, a crooked governor and a crooked presidential candidate. Ain't New York grand!
