You have to love Hillary Clinton's ability to say anything with a straight face. Yesterday, the Romanian hacker named Guccifer said in an interview that he had hacked Hillary Clinton's email server at least twice and that it was easy to do. This is the first clear evidence that Clinton not only put top secret information on her server, but that it also was seen by foreigners and/or foreign governments. Until now, there was just speculation that Hillary's unsecure server had been hacked.
So what does Hillary now say? She says that there's no evidence to support Guccifer's claims of hacking the server. The State Department repeats this. But here's the problem: Guccifer is in prison at the moment awaiting trial on unrelated charges. When he tells the news media and is recorded stating that he hacked Clinton's email server, he is admitting to both federal and state crimes. In other words, by making these statements, Guccifer opens himself up to many additional years in prison. For me, that's pretty good evidence that the man is telling the truth. Otherwise he would be falsely claiming that he committed a crime that would leave him open to a bunch more prison time.
And let's not forget NBC News sitting on this story for at least a month. Yesterday, Fox News had an interview with Guccifer and broadcast the story on the network. It was quite a scoop. Today we hear that NBC had already gotten the story from Guccifer but had sat on it for many weeks. NBC was apparently more interested in helping Hillary than in reporting the news.
