Jimmy Kimmel vs. Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin endorsed a movie currently in theaters that shows that climate change/global warming is not the impending man made catastrophe that the climatistas claim it to be.  That led Jimmy Kimmel to rebut Sarah Palin on his show.  Kimmel's basic point is that 97% of scientists agree that climate change is a major man-made problem.  It sounds good.  If essentially all the scientists agree, the average American is in no position to disagree.  That 97% is an oft-cited statistic.

But here's the big problem.  The 97% figure is just wrong.  It was exposed as wrong long ago, but it still keeps being repeated.  Here is a ink to a good explanation showing why the 97% figure is not even close to correct.

The real truth is that there is only one system that measures global temperature without any risk of bias.  That's the NASA satellite system which was put in place specifically to measure global atmospheric temperatures.  The surface temperature measurements get thrown off by urbanization.  (Temperatures in some rural area in 1936 really cannot be properly compared to temperatures at the same location in 2016 now that the city has grown to surround the measurement site.  The local buildings and their heating systems distort the result.)  The NASA system confirms that over the last 18 years, there has been no change in global temperatures.  That's right:  no warming and no cooling.

It's time that the fraud that is global warming is rejected.  We still need to study the climate, but we need to realize that man is not, NOT, changing global temperature in any measurable amount.
