A few days ago, the UN Security Council passed a resolution demanding all parties in Syria to cease fire. Since that time, the Assad forces have continued their assault on rebel positions in the Damascus region, the Turks have continued their assault on the Kurds holding Afrin, and there has been no lessening of the fighting anywhere in Syria. After all the effort to get the cease fire resolution passed, it's sad to see that none of the people involved in the fighting are honoring it.
