More on Broward Sheriff -- He Kept EMT's From Treating Florida Wounded

There's a news story just out that reports that says that Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel blocked the EMTs from entering the high school in Parkland, Florida during and after the mass shooting there.  Accepted procedures call for medical personnel to go into the shooting zones immediately to help the wounded and perhaps, save some of the more seriously wounded.  Barring the EMTs from the school may have caused the loss of life.  It's almost inconceivable to think that the sheriff would have done such a thing.

This news may also indicate that the reason that the Broward deputies were outside the school during the shooting rather than inside trying to stop the shooter is that the Sheriff gave a stand down order for them as well.  There have been rumors of such an order being given, but there is no proof of it happening.  Nevertheless, the order to keep the EMTs out of the building is just another reason why the sheriff ought to resign NOW.
