The Full Court Press To Undermine The Memo

It's interesting to watch the ongoing melt down of the Democrats, media and some in the FBI regarding the memo written by the House Committee on Intelligence (or as the media call it, the "Republican memo".)  In just the last 24 hours, the ranking Democrat on that committee has lamented the disclosure of classified data, claimed that the committee chairman altered the memo so it's dishonest, and generally hyperventilated over the impending release.  Think about that.  Adam Schiff (the ranking Democrat) has spent the last year leaking all manner of confidential and classified info that the committee learned; his goal was always to undermine the president.  Now, when the Republicans follow the proper procedures to declassify a document, Schiff is about to faint from phony horror.  The reality of that memo must be something truly major.

Then there's the "grave" objections of the FBI to the release of the memo.  Sure.  The memo is going to implicate high ranking FBI officials like the just fired deputy director and perhaps the previously fired director who used the FBI as a political tool for president Obama and candidate Hillary Clinton rather than doing their duty to be non-partisan officials interested only in justice.  The memo may also make clear that the Democrats (under the direction of Obama and Clinton) generated a dirty trick of the sort that makes Watergate look like a walk in the park.  Imagine, they created a phony dossier of supposed Trump "facts" and then used the phony information to get the FISA court to authorize surveillance of Trump campaign personnel.  It was a move that the secret police like the KGB or the Stasi would be proud to call their own.  It seems that there really were actions taken to subvert American democracy in 2016, but it was by Clinton and Obama and their minions, not Trump.

Look, we don't know what is exactly in that memo.  We will soon, however.  None of the caterwauling by the media and the Democrats, however, is going to save the wrongdoers from exposure.
