When I was 13, my father got season's tickets for the Eagles. The team was hapless back then, but I loved going to the games. I kept waiting for the Eagles to win the Super Bowl. Finally, yesterday, that wait ended. Congratulations to the Eagles. Congratulations to the Philadelphia fans. Personally, I'm taking the day off from writing about politics and economics just to savor this moment. It reminds me of the Phillies first World Series win back in 1980. We waited for that. We waited for this too. It just makes the moment now that it has happened so much the better.
