Listening to the Democrats Splinter

Do you hear that breaking sound coming from the direction of Washington?  It's the Democrats splintering into factions.  Despite the Dems having spent much of the last week at their "unity" conference at an ultra-expensive spa outside DC, there doesn't seem to be much unity.  Here's an example.  It's a tweet by Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, a Michigan Democrats who also happens to be a Muslim.  She's commenting on the response by the Democrat leadership to the criticism of representative Ilhan Omar, another Democrat Muslim after she described the horrific 9-11 terror attack as "some people did something."

They put us in photos when they want to show our party is diverse. However, when we ask to be at the table, or speak up about issues that impact who we are, what we fight for & why we ran in the first place, we are ignored. To truly honor our diversity is to never silence us.

Tlaib is taking on Pelosi and her leadership team directly.  The Democrat leaders are not prepared to join Omar or Tlaib in denigrating those who suffered terribly because of the 9-11 terror attacks.  The far left radicals have no problem with that, however.  The lefties like AOC and these two think that they can say whatever they want and then claim to be victims if anyone responds.  The conversation goes something like this:

Omar:  9-11 was no big deal.  It was the fault of the USA.

Others:  That's terribly disrespectful to all those who died in that attack.

Omar:  You're a racist, Islamophobic, sexist who just wants to criticize me because I'm a minority.
