Whatever Bad Happens, It's Always the Fault of the Republicans

In 2010, Obamacare passed the Congress without the vote of a single Republican.  The act was rammed through by Pelosi and Reid and their allies among the Democrats.  In 2011, the Republican House voted to repeal Obamacare, but the Democrats in the Senate refused to go along.  As part of the Obamacare bill, the Democrats provided for $2.7 trillion of spending for it over the next ten years.  That is roughly the size of the entire federal government in 2008, the last year before president Obama took office.  Well now Obamacare is just months away from going into effect.  On January 1 of 2014, folks all across the nation will be hit with the taxes, regulations, fee increases and other joys that come with Obamacare.  The Democrats are getting nervous.  They know that when millions lose their insurance coverage because of a law that supposedly was going to expand coverage, voters will be angry.  They know that folks whose insurance premiums go up by 50 or 60% as a result of a law that Obama promised would cut individual premiums by $2500 per year will also be angry.  They understand that patients who will no longer be able to see their current doctors because the coverage allowed is insufficient to support the practice of many doctors will not be happy.  After all, everyone remembers Obama telling us over and over again that if you like your doctor, you can keep him under Obamacare.  The Democrats also understand that people who get cut to part time workers so that they do not fall under the requirements of Obamacare will be upset.  All in all, there will be millions upon millions of Americans whose lives will be hurt by the Obamacare law, and not all that many who will be helped.  And through all this, the Republicans have uniformly stood for repeal of the Obamacare monstrosity.

So what are the Democrats to do?  Well, they are going to their usual playbook.  They are blaming the GOP for Obamacare problems.  Today, Harry Reid, the leader of the Senate Obamacrats said that the implementaion of Obamacare may indeed be a trainwreck, but the reason is because the GOP is blocking spending more money on that program.  Do you get that?  Two and three quarter trillion dollars is not enough.  Let's just write out the full number:  $2,700,000,000,000.00 -- It is not enough according to Reid.  That is $9000 for each man, woman and child in America, but Reid says it is not enough!

For shame, senator, for shame!
