In the last two weeks, I have heard three people tell me that they have lost their health insurance because of Obamacare. These are not folks who had individual policies. Each of them worked at companies that will no longer provide coverage. In two of the cases, it was the insurance company that dropped coverage. In the third, it was the business. For the moment, each of these people is now contemplating using the healthcare exchanges to get new coverage, and each one is quite worried about the prospect of what that will mean.
This is one side of Obamacare that gets too little attention. Supposedly, Obamacare was going to get insurance to the uninsured. What about those who had insurance but then lost it due to Obamacare? Given the failure of the exchanges, who knows if they will be able to replace that coverage?
