Yesterday, Robert Reich wrote a piece on the Huffington Post in which he argued that the Democrats had no responsibility for Obamacare. According to Reich, the structure of Obamacare is what the Republicans wanted; Democrats wanted a single payer system. The current mess is all the fault of the Republicans; at least this is the latest from the former cabinet secretary.
Wow! Things must really be brutal for the Democrats if they are now going to try to make Obamacare into a Republican program. I wonder how even Reich will explain that Obamacare was passed with not a single Republican vote in favor of it. It is the ultimate Democrat program. If the program is actually a Republican one, why did the Republicans just go through that partial government shutdown to change it and why did the Democrats refuse to change it?
