This afternoon, a young woman in a car with Connecticut plates was shot dead by Capitol Police in Washington. As far as we know now, the woman was unarmed and had an infant in the car with her. Nevertheless, instead of shooting out the tires or otherwise stopping the car, the police chose to kill the woman. We will have to wait to get more information to what actually happened, but right now it looks like something went wrong in a major way. The woman should not have been shot.
