A Retour of the Mainstream

Earlier today, I wrote about the lack of coverage in the mainstream media of the hearings about the terrorist attack on the American embassy in Benghazi, Libya last September 11th.  Of all the networks, only Fox gave the story much coverage.  Most did not even mention it.

Then, about 4:45, the jury in the Jody Arias case came back with their verdict.  They found her guilty of murder in the first degree.  At 5:00, I check all the same network websites just to see if they had managed to cover the Arias story.  Every single one had a story about the verdict.  Most of them had major coverage of the Arias verdict as the lead story.

So four Americans including our ambassador are murdered by terrorists in Libya and more are wounded, but that gets little coverage.  One man is murdered by Jody Arias in Arizona a few years ago, and it gets major coverage.  Is there any doubt why that has happened? 

America's news media have to stop covering the news from a political stand point.  So what if the incompetence of the Obama administration and the president himself gets pointed out in this matter.  We all deserve to know the truth.  Right now, that truth is that the media is protecting Obama.  It really is a shame.
