Did The Dam Break Today On Benghazi?

It has been quite a day.  On Fox News Sunday, a Democrat congressman from Boston said that the talking points generate by the Obama administration after the Benghazi attack were phony and wrong.  The CBS Sunday Evening News opened with a story about the testimony of the diplomat who was second in command in Libya during the attack and the CBS anchor actually said that the testimony "seems to support" claims of "a coverup" by the Obama administration.  CBS even spoke about how Obama did not want to admit that there had been a terror attack in Libya in the middle of the presidential election campaign.  The claims that the Obama administration was not threatening witnesses to prevent them from testifying about Benghazi are crumbling; it seems inevitable that Congress will finally hear from these witnesses starting this Wednesday.

It is hard to overstate just how important all this is.  A regular liberal Democrat with a totally safe seat is labeling the talking points as lies and deception.  The heart of the liberal national media is admitting that there has been a coverup.  Sure, CBS had to say that the new testimony "seems" to support the proof of a coverup, but I bet that the people in the control room were shaking as the words were said.  Even Daryl Issa was shown on CBS without being described in some negative fashion to indicate that he could not be trusted.  No, the import of the report was that president Obama's administration had been caught lying to the public.

Think back to the last time that CBS or the Democrats in Congress called out Obama for telling lies.  It has never happened before.

This is big news.  It means that the proof of a coverup must be overwhelming.  Maybe now, the American people will finally hear the truth of what happened.
