A few days ago, president Obama said (yet again) that the so called supreme leader of Iran had issue a fatwa against the use of nuclear weapons. Secretary of state Kerry repeated that claim as well. A fatwa is a pronouncement of an Islamic religious authority which carries great weight among Moslems. The only problem with Obama's statement is that there is no such fatwa from the Iranian supreme leader or any other Iranian religious authority.
It's rather amazing that both the president and the secretary of state would just announce the existence of a phony fatwa. We ought to give them the benefit of the doubt. Let's start a campaign asking the White House to produce copies of the fatwa so that everyone can see it. Hopefully, we will not be told that the only copy of the fatwa was among the personal emails that Hillary Clinton deleted.
PRODUCE THE FATWA.
