The counter-attack by the mainstream media to the story of the many mistakes and delusions of president Obama and Hillary Clinton when it comes to the war on terror is in full swing. This morning, I heard or read stories about how American air power is driving ISIS back in Iraq, how the White House wants to work with Congress to limit the visa waiver program that allows passport holders from the UK, France, Germany and certain other countries to enter the USA without the needed for obtaining a visa in advance, and other reports designed to show Obama engaged in strong anti-ISIS/anti-terror activity. There were also stories about some things that Donald Trump said that "could be interpreted" as calling for national registration of Moslem citizens of the USA. The stories are all best described as garbage. The media wants us to believe that the GOP is a bunch of evil racists while Obama and Hillary valiantly fight on against ISIS.
Here, however, is an actual quote from Hillary's big speech yesterday on terrorism:
"Let’s be clear: Islam is not our adversary. Muslims are peaceful and tolerant people and have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism."
The Clinton campaign thought that this statement was so important that they tweeted it out separately after the speech.
Think about that. Muslims, according to Hillary, "have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism." Hillary actually said that and is so proud of that view that she rebroadcast it on Twitter. It displays a level of denial and ignorance that is startling. Certainly, we all can agree that not all Moslems are involved in terrorism. No one makes that claim. But to say that Moslems have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism is a joke. Remember ISIS is the "Islamic State". It promotes a caliphate as called for in the Koran, the holy book of Islam. It kills non-Moslems for being infidels. It uses mosques as recruiting stations. But to Hillary Moslems have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism?
During World War II, not all Germans were Nazis. That, too, is something upon which we all can agree. Can you imagine a candidate for president in 1944 stating that Germans have nothing whatsoever to do with the war? Can you picture the speech in which president Roosevelt said to the nation that although the Nazi's ideology was based upon the racial superiority of Germans and although the Nazis said they were German, they really were not German because Germans had nothing whatsoever to do with the war?
Hillary's statement yesterday really tells us that the woman is either delusional or unable to tell the truth. Think of the world Hillary would continue. In Hillary's world, a man who "identifies" as a woman is considered a woman, but an Islamic terrorist who "identifies" as a Moslem is not a Moslem. The sad reality is that Hillary and Obama just do not have a clue who we are fighting or why we are fighting them. Victory in the war on terror requires that we have competent leadership. At the moment, it is something that the USA lacks. We ought not employ another delusional person when we replace Obama.
