In Turkey today, a rather petulant president Obama said that his strategy for dealing with ISIS is working and would not be changed. Obama seemed to take offense at even being asked if he would change his strategy.
Obama's stand on the ISIS strategy reminds me of the story of the guy who went to the observation deck on the top of the Empire State Building in New York. A strong gust of wind came along and blew him over the railing. As he was falling, a person in an office on the 40th floor shouted out the window at him, "How are you doing?" As the man fell past that window he shouted in reply, "So far, so good!"
